I love my McLain rollers!

About Me

Comments:

I use the rollers to ride my treasured Raleigh Gran Prix in the basement. I get a good workout and it is nice to actually ride a "real" bike during my workouts. It helps with pedal stroke and balance too. I've had these rollers since 2001 and they have proved very reliable and have not degraded at all. Even the rollers have held up beautifully. They should last me a life time! They don't fold and could have an easier method of changing the roller (wheelbase adjustment), but I don't change bikes on it as my Raleigh is nice and heavy for this type of riding. They are quiet too. I've ridden aluminum rollers and they emit a high pitch wine that is annoying - especially to anyone close to you! These have a muted hum. They don't fold, but are easy to deploy and very solid as a result. When I need to "hill climb"I jump on my spin bike. I've ridden rollers since I was 15 (I am 51 now) and I still love it. For the money these are great.
